Choose vendors by ownership, adoption, and handover.

A grant can reduce cost, but it does not fix a weak vendor scope. Ask practical questions before signing.

Ownership questions

  • Who owns the domain, hosting, analytics, CRM, automations, and source files?
  • Can the SME export customer data and reports without vendor intervention?
  • What happens if the vendor relationship ends?

Delivery questions

  • What are the exact deliverables?
  • What is excluded?
  • Who provides content, data, approvals, and user testing?
  • How many revision rounds are included?

Adoption questions

  • Who will use the system every week?
  • What training is included?
  • Are SOPs or handover documents provided?
  • What metric proves the system is being used?

Gentle warning: A vendor who only talks about grant support and not post-launch usage may not be thinking about your business outcome deeply enough.
